When a loved one dies, it is a difficult time for the family left behind but this can be made a lot easier, if the deceased has left a will which clearly sets out, what is to happen to the estate of the deceased.
At Brian McGrane, Solicitors, we are happy to listen to our wishes and to advise and draft a Will, which will ensure that those wishes will be implemented after death. We will also advise on the tax implications of the proposed Will.
In order for a Will to be legally enforceable, it needs to be proven with the Probate office of the High Court and this is known as extracting a Grant of Probate. This is a service we can carry out on behalf of our clients and indeed, all other types of applications to the Probate office, such as Letters of Administration, De bonis non grants etc. Once the Grant has issued from the Probate office, we will then ensure the proper administration and distribution of the estate.
If you wish to make a Will or if you need assistance regarding the administration of a deceased’s estate, contact us to discuss your circumstances, without obligation.
We can advise those people who are ready to make a Will and to appoint their chosen executors and beneficiaries. We can also advise family members and legal administrators if a person has died without having made a Will (intestate). At all times we will look after your affairs in a sensitive manner.
